Our position on third-party material
Silver Palace Guide does not host game rips, datamined files, watermarked screenshots, official key art or third-party video. Illustrations on the site are original SVG diagrams made for explanatory purposes. Short quotations from official announcements are used for identification and commentary.
How to send a notice
Send a written notice to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA notice". To be actionable, the notice should include all of the following:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- the exact URL or URLs on this site where the material appears, with enough detail to locate it;
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
- a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
Incomplete notices may be returned for clarification rather than acted on.
What happens next
Valid notices are acknowledged within a reasonable period. Material that is clearly infringing is removed or replaced, and the change is noted on the page. If the claim is disputed, the material may stay up while evidence is exchanged. Repeated valid claims about the same contributor result in that contributor being blocked.
Counter-notices
If your material was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and your contact details and consent to jurisdiction. Valid counter-notices may lead to restoration.
