Silver Palace Gacha: Mind Invasion Banners and Pity

Mind Invasion is the gacha system, and it is split into four Bullet banners. The numbers below are the CBT2 test values, not launch promises.

CBT2 data Updated 2 November 2026 · Launch values may differ

Short answer: there are four banners — Scrutiny Bullet for limited characters, Constant Bullet for standard characters, and Insight Bullet and Puzzle Bullet for weapons. Weapons are called Motives. In CBT2 the 5-star base rate was 0.8%, roughly 1.8% once pity is included, with a hard pity at 80 pulls. Limited characters were guaranteed at 100 pulls in a pool of three standard plus one limited, with no 50/50. Weapon banners had 80-pull hard pity and a 50/50. Every percentage here is a CBT2 value and launch values may differ.

What is Mind Invasion and what are the four banners?

Mind Invasion is the official name of the gacha system. It is divided into four banners, each themed as a kind of bullet, and all four draw from the same currency pool. Characters and weapons are separated: two banners are for characters and two are for weapons, with one standard and one limited version of each.

BannerPoolWhat it contains
Scrutiny BulletLimited characterOne featured limited character plus three standard five-stars
Constant BulletStandard characterThe standard character pool
Insight BulletLimited weaponMotives, the weapon class
Puzzle BulletStandard weaponMotives, without a featured limited weapon

Weapons in this game are not swords and guns with generic names. Each is a Motive tied to a character's story, which is why the weapon banners sit so close to the character ones. The Motives page explains how a Mystery set works.

What are the 5-star and 4-star rates?

In CBT2 the base five-star rate was 0.8%, and the combined rate once pity is counted was about 1.8%. Four-stars had a 6% base rate and about 13% combined, with a guarantee inside every ten pulls. Three-stars were weapons and filled the rest of the table at 93.2%. There was no soft-pity ramp: the rate did not climb gradually as you approached the hard pity.

RarityBase rate (CBT2)With pity (CBT2)
5★0.8%About 1.8%
4★6%About 13%
3★93.2%Remainder, all Motives

The absence of a soft ramp matters for planning: the displayed rate does not rise as you approach 80, so a dry streak stays dry until the hard pity lands. It also means the "about 1.8%" figure is an average across all pulls, not a rate you can watch climb.

How does character pity work?

Character banners had a hard pity at 80 pulls in CBT2. That is the point at which a five-star is guaranteed, independent of the base rate. The pity counter carries across banners and does not reset when a banner ends, so pulls saved on one limited banner can be spent on the next without losing progress.

Because there is no soft-pity ramp, the counter is the only thing that moves. That makes it worth tracking rather than estimating. If you are at 60 pulls on a character banner, the practical information is "20 to hard pity", not "the rate should be higher by now".

How does the limited banner work without a 50/50?

The Scrutiny Bullet pool contains three standard five-stars and one limited five-star. There is no 50/50 split, so a five-star is not a coin flip between featured and standard. Instead, when a five-star appears, the chance that it is the limited character is about 25%, which follows directly from one limited slot in a pool of four.

The guarantee is separate: the limited character is guaranteed at 100 pulls. In CBT2 that was the headline rule for limited characters, and the pity counter carried across banners. A widely repeated claim of 120 pulls comes from a single outlier source and is not used here; three independent sources agreed on 100.

How does the weapon banner differ?

Weapon banners used a 80-pull hard pity plus a 50/50. That is the conventional split: the first five-star weapon has a chance to be the featured one, and if it is not, the next is guaranteed. Weapons are Motives, so the two weapon banners are the limited and standard routes to the same gear class.

Do not apply character banner logic to the weapon banner. The 100-pull limited guarantee belongs to the character pool, and the weapon pool's 50/50 is a different mechanic with a different pity target.

What currencies and duplicate rewards does the gacha use?

Philosopher's Stone is the premium currency used for pulls. Reactor Crystal is the other draw currency and also buys characters directly in some cases; one pull cost 360 Reactor Crystal in CBT2, or 3,600 for ten. Every pull produced 8 Mind Grain regardless of rarity. Duplicate five-stars gave a Trait plus 20 Mind Shards, rising to 50 from the seventh copy onward.

Reactor Crystal also came from city roaming, sign-in rewards, exploration, Deep Cognito and chests, which is why the currency is not purely a purchase currency. The progression page covers the non-gacha economy in more detail.

Which characters do not need pulling?

Four routes existed in the tests. The Detective is the starter and always available. Cinderella was given as a sign-in gift, on day two of a five-day board in the first test. Cynthia II could be exchanged directly with Reactor Crystal. Gratia was the limited banner character, so she was the one who required Scrutiny Bullet pulls.

That mix is worth remembering when reading roster advice, because it means "limited" is not the same as "strong", and "free" is not the same as "weak". The character roster lists the full fourteen with their rarity and Reactor.

How many pulls should you save?

SituationNumber to trackWhat it means
Fresh character banner80Hard pity for any five-star
Chasing the featured limited100Guarantee for the limited character
Any five-star on ScrutinyAbout 25%Chance it is the featured character
Weapon banner80Hard pity, then 50/50 resolution
Ten-pull3,600 Reactor Crystal360 per single pull
Any pull8 Mind GrainFlat, rarity-independent

The two pity rules answer two different questions, and that is where most budgets go wrong. Eighty answers "when is my next five-star?" One hundred answers "when is the character on the poster?" Saving 80 for a limited unit is planning for the wrong event.

Also remember that a 25% featured slot is not a 50/50. Three out of four five-stars on Scrutiny are standard, so the featured unit arrives mostly through the 100-pull guarantee rather than through early lucky five-stars. An early five-star is not a wasted pull; it is a cheap standard unit that arrived before the guarantee clock ran out.

Version note: every percentage, pity count and currency figure on this page is a CBT2 value from the 23 July – 13 August 2026 test. The global launch on 14 December 2026 may retune rates, costs or guarantees, and launch values may differ. Last checked 2 November 2026.

Common questions

Is there a 50/50 on limited characters?

No. The limited pool is three standard plus one limited, so a five-star is roughly 25% likely to be the featured character, and the 100-pull guarantee settles it.

Does pity carry between banners?

Yes for character banners in CBT2. The counter does not reset when a banner ends, so saved pulls keep their value.

Is the 120-pull claim true?

No. It appears in a single source and conflicts with three others. The CBT2 guarantee was 100 pulls.

Will these rates be the same at launch?

Unknown. These are test values, and the launch build may change them. Treat any launch-day rate as unconfirmed until the banner text appears in game.
