Do PC and mobile share progress?
Yes, when you sign in with the same account on both. The official FAQ for the technical test states that character progress, items and quest records sync across PC and mobile. This is the one cross-platform link the publisher has confirmed in writing.
The rule is account-based, not device-based. You are not transferring a save between machines; you are logging into the same account from a second platform, and the server reads the same data. That is why the device cap matters: the account can be on more than one machine, but only within the limit.
Do iOS and Android share data?
No. The same FAQ states that qualification and data are not shared between iOS and Android. An iOS install and an Android install are separate worlds as far as that account's mobile entitlement goes, even though both can link back to the same PC progress.
Practically, this means an iPhone and an Android phone cannot be used as interchangeable mobile clients for the same account in the way two PCs might be imagined to be. The three-device cap — one PC and two phones — is structured around exactly this split, not around "any two phones".
How many devices can one account use?
One PC and two mobile devices, and the two mobile slots are one iOS plus one Android. That is the official limit from the test-period FAQ, and it is a cap on logged-in devices rather than a suggestion about how many you may own.
For most players this is generous: a desktop plus a phone covers the usual two-screen life. It becomes tight if you play on a laptop and a desktop, because those are two PCs competing for one PC slot. Decide which computer is your main one before you log in on both.
Can you switch devices during a test?
No. Test accounts could not change devices at all, and the FAQ warned that switching mid-test could lead to the account being suspended. Test accounts were also explicitly not to be transferred or sold.
That rule was strict because a limited test needs stable device fingerprints and a clean account pool. It applied to the test period, not necessarily to launch, but the underlying warning about account trading is worth keeping: buying or selling an account is a way to lose it.
Does PS5 use the same account?
Unconfirmed. The official cross-save FAQ covers PC and mobile only, and the September technical test ran on Android, iOS and PC without PS5. No official statement yet says whether PS5 progress links to the same account as PC and mobile.
Until the launch announcement addresses it, treat PS5 as its own platform for planning purposes. If you intend to play on console and phone, do not assume your progress will follow you. The release date page tracks the platform list, and PC requirements covers the hardware side.
Do test saves carry over?
No. Every Silver Palace test so far has been a wipe test, including the Monotype Test, the Dichotomy Test and the September return test. Progress from the test server does not exist on the launch server, and no amount of cross-device linking changes that.
This is the part people misread most often: cross-save keeps a single account consistent across devices during a test, but it does not preserve anything into launch. Everyone starts from zero on 14 December 2026, whether they linked three devices or one.
How do you keep your account safe?
Use official channels only, never buy or sell an account, and never share login credentials with a third party. The test FAQ's prohibition on transferring or selling accounts is a security rule as much as an anti-RMT rule, and bans for device switching show how tightly accounts were tracked.
If a site or video offers a "pre-linked" account or a device-switch workaround, it is describing a route to suspension. There is no legitimate way around the device cap, and no official service that transfers progress between separate accounts. For launch timing, see the release page; for what to do on day one, see the beginner's guide.
Common questions
Can I play the same account on PC and phone?
Yes. PC and mobile share character progress, items and quest records when you sign in with the same account.
Can I move my account from iPhone to Android?
No. iOS and Android do not share qualification or data, so the mobile side is not interchangeable between the two stores.
How many phones can I use?
Two mobile devices per account, one iOS and one Android, alongside one PC.
Does PS5 share progress with PC?
Not confirmed. The official cross-save FAQ covers PC and mobile only, and PS5 was absent from the September technical test.
