Silver Palace Cynthia II Build: Sweetness Bombs

Cynthia II is a 5★ Alba Witness who turns a passive Sweetness bar into bombs. The CBT2 cap, the two Sweet Slingshot tiers and the ultimate that outlives her field time are below.

CBT2 data Updated 2 November 2026 · Launch values may differ

Short answer: Sweetness refills at 6 points a second to a cap of 100. Build it with the three-hit combo or the charged roll, then hold Sweet Slingshot to spend it. Lv1 is a small blast; Lv2 is a lingering area that applies Sweetness Overload, which makes targets take 10% more damage for 40 seconds. Crescent Compassion leaves a boomerang and cat knight on the field after she swaps out.

What is Cynthia II's Sweetness loop?

Sweetness is a passive bar with a passive feed. It refills at 6 points per second and caps at 100, which means the kit generates its own resource even while you are not attacking. Attacks accelerate the fill, but the bar is never fully gated behind perfect uptime.

That changes the rhythm compared with the other resource characters. Cinderella and Rex have to attack to build; Cynthia II can wait. The optimal play is to spend Sweetness on a bomb, then use the next few seconds of passive regeneration to recover while repositioning or swapping. The three-hit basic string is Alba damage and the charged attack is a rolling dash that builds Sweetness faster.

How do the two Sweet Slingshot levels differ?

Sweet Slingshot is the bomb skill, and it is charged by holding the button. Lv1 throws a small area bomb: cheap, quick, and useful for finishing a low-health pack. Lv2 throws a larger, persistent area that keeps damaging inside it and applies Sweetness Overload to everything hit.

The difference is not only size. Lv2 is the version that creates the debuff window, so it is the version you want before your main damage dealer takes the field. Lv1 is the version you use when the bar is low or the target is about to die anyway.

ToolWhat it does
Three-hit basic comboAlba damage; builds Sweetness
Charged attackRolling dash; accelerates Sweetness gain
Sweet Slingshot Lv1Small area blast
Sweet Slingshot Lv2Persistent area; applies Sweetness Overload
Crescent CompassionBoomerang and cat knight; remains after swap

What does Sweetness Overload do?

Sweetness Overload is a damage-taken debuff: targets affected by it take 10% more damage for 40 seconds. It is applied by the Lv2 Sweet Slingshot, and it is the main reason to bring Cynthia II into a party that already has a damage dealer.

Because the window is 40 seconds, the bomb does not need to be reapplied constantly. One good Lv2 cast covers a full swap cycle and most boss phases. The mistake to avoid is throwing Lv1 bombs for the whole fight and never opening the window at all.

What does a perfect dodge give her?

A perfect dodge lets the next basic attack perform a jump attack. Against a target already under Sweetness Overload, that jump attack interrupts the target and deals extra Alba damage. Against an unaffected target, it is still a mobility attack, but it does not get the interrupt.

This is a combo condition, not a standalone tool. You want the Overload applied before you take the dodge follow-up, which means the order is bomb first, dodge second. The general dodge rules are in the combat guide; the extra value here comes from stacking the debuff and the interrupt.

What does Crescent Compassion leave behind?

Crescent Compassion is the ultimate. It sends out a crescent boomerang and a cat knight that pull enemies together, and both remain on the field even after Cynthia II swaps out. The CBT2 skill damage value is 42.78%.

That persistence is the unusual part of the kit. Most ultimates end when the animation ends; this one keeps working during the next character's field time. The practical use is to fire Crescent Compassion, swap to your main damage dealer, and let the boomerang and cat knight hold the pack inside the damage window. Her weapon, a set of Bread Kitty Automatons, is the same idea in item form.

How do you obtain Cynthia II?

In CBT1 she was obtained through the Reactor Crystal exchange. She is a 5★ Alba Witness from House Luna, styled Luna's Scion, with the epithet The Goldbud. No launch acquisition route has been announced, and the Reactor Crystal exchange is a test-build detail rather than a confirmed launch system.

For the rest of the roster, see the characters page. The other support kit with a team damage window is covered on the Argos build, and the banner rules are on the gacha page.

Version note: all percentages, resource caps and pity counts on this site are CBT2 values from the PC build. The global launch on 14 December 2026 may retune them. Each page is dated; this one was last checked on 2 November 2026.

Common questions

Does Sweetness stop regenerating while she is off-field?

The published data describes a passive +6 per second without specifying field time. Treat the bar as recovering between actions until the launch build documents a restriction.

Is Lv1 Sweet Slingshot useless?

No. It is a cheap small blast for finishing targets. It just does not apply Sweetness Overload, which is the reason to use Lv2 before a damage window.

Do the boomerang and cat knight really stay after a swap?

Yes. The CBT2 data says the ultimate's field objects remain active even when Cynthia II leaves the field.

Is Cynthia II a damage dealer or a support?

Her personal damage is modest, and her value comes from the Overload debuff and the persistent ultimate. She is best used to enable a main damage dealer.
