Why do supports feel weak at first?
All four of these characters hide their value behind a trigger. Argos needs a charged draw inside a ten-second stance. Grimm needs hit five before the skill. Gucia needs several strings before the spend. Red Rose needs a perfect dodge to reach her interrupt for free.
None of that shows up on a damage dummy. All of it shows up in a real phase.
Argos: the 40-second team buff
Argos builds Confession on the four-hit Cane and Spirits string and caps at 12. Celebratory Champagne spends the whole bar and opens Piercing Gaze for ten seconds. Inside the stance, the fourth hit becomes a draw-cut, and the Lv2 charged draw gives the whole party +10% damage for 40 seconds.
The buff is attached to the charged input, not to the stance and not to the skill. A party that never uses that draw never sees the buff. His own percentages are deliberately modest because the team multiplier is the product.

Grimm: the Fulmen shred
Grimm runs a 40-point Camera Battery that regenerates at +4 per second — ten seconds from empty. The handgun tops it up by 2 on hits one to three and 5 on hits four and five. Hit five applies News Target; the skill then applies exposure.
| State | Effect | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Photo Evidence | −5% Fulmen RES | 15s |
| Full Exposé, with News Target | −15% Fulmen RES | 15s |
| Full Exposé after Airborne Scoop | −15% Fulmen RES, refreshed | 40s |
| Live Recording | +5% team Fulmen damage | 40s |
Applying the skill before hit five falls back to the weaker debuff and loses two-thirds of the shred. The order is the entire kit.

Gucia: the Alba shred
Gucia's Erudition caps at 300 and fills at 10 / 20 / 10 / 20 across the four-hit lantern string — 60 per string. Pressing skill, block or dodge before hit four ends adds another 40. Seek the Supernatural channels for up to two seconds and banks up to 120 before release.
| Erudition at spend | Effect |
|---|---|
| Under 100 | Lantern swing only |
| Under 200 | Swing plus small firefly, −5% Alba RES for 40s |
| 300 or more | Large firefly, −10% Alba RES for 40s |
The 200–299 band is not described in the CBT2 sheet. If you want the large firefly, the target is 300 exactly.

Red Rose: the interrupt
Red Rose generates Rose Petals on two hits only: +1 on hit three and +2 on hit five. There is no published cap and no published skill cost, so the petals are a scoreboard rather than a gate.
Her support value is mobility and interruption. The Lv2 charged spin is 85.32% and interrupts the target; a perfect dodge lets the next basic attack fire that spin immediately. The CBT2 sheet lists no healing and no team-wide damage buff, so do not build around a number that has not been released.

Which support fits your party?
| Party damage | Best support | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Fulmen-heavy | Grimm | Shred and team buff both affect Fulmen |
| Alba-heavy | Gucia | Only published Alba RES shred in the roster |
| Mixed schools, burst window | Argos | Flat +10% team damage for 40s |
| Mobile boss, red-ring pressure | Red Rose | Perfect dodge converts defence into the interrupt spin |
Common questions
Does Argos's team buff stack?
No stacking is documented. The CBT2 data describes one +10% damage effect lasting 40 seconds.
Does Grimm need a full Camera Battery?
No. Photographic Proof can spend 20 for the quick version or the whole bar for the larger one. Both apply exposure; the marker is what matters for the strong debuff.
What happens between 200 and 299 Erudition on Gucia?
It is not described in the CBT2 sheet. The published bands are under 100, under 200, and 300 or more.
Does Red Rose heal?
No. The CBT2 sheet lists no healing. Her support label comes from interrupts and mobility.
